Mine at the moment is Duvel. Although my favorites change like the weather
Yeah I always love DT. Chimay Red is also good.
While it's not a true Belgian I have been drinking Rock Art Belgo-Style IPA. Very good stuff.
Drinking a Leffe Blonde for the first time and must say that it's very tasty and also light for the ABV it carries. I'm impressed!
Hoegarden is my fav
I love Gulden Draak but Piraat also has a special place in my heart.
My favorite Belgian, currently, is what I just brewed, "Blackberry Wit". I even entered it in a local competition at Hanger 24 Brewing.
I used to love that beer until I learned anheuser busch bought them. I refuse to support their (or miller coors') beer tyranny.
Oh, forgot to mention my fav. It's gulden draak.
La Fin Du Monde
La Fin Du Monde is a fantastic brew.
I prefer St. Bernardus Tripel.
I have had a love affair with Pannepot since having in Bruges. I buy all I can afford when I find it.
Orval right now.
The New Belgium Belgo is one of my favorite beers from the last couple of years!
I'm with you. Orval is like getting three beers in one ... it changes so much over time if you age it properly.
Saison Dupont used to be my desert island beer for it's beer/food pairing abilities but Orval now has that place.
Maredsous holds a special place in my heart.
Westmalle Triple - Actually from Belgium
La Fin Du Monde - Belgian Style (It's from Nova Scotia I believe)
Westmalle Dubbel, it's a well balanced darker brew with a very full body. I also like Mardesous 8 quite a bit.
Its a toss up from Maredsous 8, Duvel, & Saison Dupont...life is good when deciding the #1 Belgian is this tough
You said it, brother!
