Hm...does anyone know what savage ale looks/tastes like? Might be fun for history's sake to brew it up? Maybe call it "Hickok's Bane"? I already named my whiskely stout "Queen Anne's Revenge", after Blackbeard's ship. I used this one in book one of my "Time Lords 2034" series, The Alternate Prometheus.
*well, I'm having trouble finding anything on savage ale, but I did find a pic sight with a copy of the poster...https://www.google.com/search?q=19th+century+savage+ale?&sa=N&espv=2&biw=1164&bih=817&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ei=KVtXVcieG8uYNo2YgLgO&ved=0CCYQsAQ4FA
