Beer Signs

    This was passed down for a few years back in my college days, but I was the last of the "blood line," so I was lucky enough to keep it.

    All I have is a Shiner Bock tin sign that has followed me all these years. I stole it from a Bier Garden I worked at when I was in High School.

    Lindemans sign

    Nice Lindemans sign. Have you collected any other lambic signs? That is what I focus on collecting. My oldest I believe is from the 1890's. I'll try posting one that I like. This one dates from 1947 and is about 24 cm. X 34 cm.:p

    No I just collect different beer signs and just got lucky walking up on that one....

    Ive been in the process of converting one of my spare bedrooms into the 'beer room' per the lady's request to get all my shiz out of her way and when I have up my signs and what not I will upload them :)

    Old obscure Lambic Brewery sign

    Has an interesting suede like red surface. Embossed lettering on cardboard.:p

    Belgian tin embossed sign from 1937

    This beauty is in about mint condition. Nearly all the lettering as well as the bottle and glass is raised.

    This one dates from 1896. Stamped heavy cardboard from Belgium.

    Gueuze De La Becasse - 1933 Porcelain Enamel sign

    Old Porcelain Enamel on steel - Bends and rust, Sure! Original and still lots of character, OH YEAH!

    Yes it's functional .25 cents to play....Whole thing is in a foreign language, so we dont know how to do much except open it and remove the quarters :D lol
