Cheese should be the only thing ever on a pizza.

Pizza Purists
My brother and I always get in to debates about pizzas/toppings.
I've virtually never met a pizza topping I didn't like/was too weird. My brother's idea of pizza is red sauce, cheese, and either pepperoni or sausage and peppers are OK.
There have already been many mentions of pizza on this board (especially from folks that love pairing them with beer). Which side of the pizza topping fence do you fall... traditional or viva la difference?

I would have voted "D", but there are one or two things I don't like. For the most part I'm pretty open minded, though.

Ummmm, anchovies bro. I like pepperoni, sliced Italian sausage, bacon (not Canadian), shrooms, olives, onions. I'm down for most things. I voted for 'E', AOTA.

Of course. I should have added "within reason". I mean, I like a TON of different stuff, but I don't want to try gila monster and pufferfish pizza as much as the next guy/gal.

I guess I should have prefaced this with what made me think of this thread.
Last night I bought a pizza that has huge, fresh cut french fries, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, onions, and bacon, all topped with mozzarella & cheddar.
Before I tried this one, I also tried their chicken alfredo pizza. Basically just chicken and alfredo sauce, but still good. (But I'd have loved it with noodles on it too.) I've had taco pizza from a few different shops around here. Whenever I'm lucky enough to get Donato's, I get either their Chicken Mariachi or the Hawaiian. https://www.donatos.com/phoenix-web/Items.htm And at a place in Chicago, I had a pizza called the Garbage Pizza. http://pizzametro2.com/menu.html I also even tried the PB&J pizza from East of Chicago. (Admittedly, that wasn't too bad, but not necessarily up my alley.)
And there's a local place (Brothers) that makes a white pie that has heat that's to die for.
But, there's NOTHING wrong with a slice of plain as long as it's done well. Locally, Sunrise http://www.sunriseinnofwarren.com/menus/warrenohio.html (their Monterrey Chicken pizza is pretty awesome too) and Brothers http://www.facebook.com/pages/Brothers-Pizza-Restaurant/118275778193493 have the best red sauce pizza. Maybe my favorite is from Brooklyn, NY... Spumoni Gardens http://www.spumonigardens.com/. Or maybe that's just because I'm away from home and it feels more "authentic". haha

One of my favorite non traditionals is the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza from a local bar. Bacon, ground beef, onions, pickles and cheddar. They also have one named after your's truly, the Nordeaster, Polish saus, kraut and cheddar. I kept trying to tell them I was Irish, they said potatoes and whisky have no place on pizza.

Yeh, it's a good place. Pizza's named for this side of town, so's the Grain Belt beer (old pre-Schell's brewery's down near the river over here) and me.
Polish sausage everything is big in NE, there's a greasy spoon called Johnson's that has a Big Johnson Breakfast. Eggs, bacon, home fries and a Polish. D@mn good. I've actually never had the Nordeaster pizza, not a kraut guy, but Tasty makes a tasty pie for sure.

This was the Garbage Pizza from Pizza Metro II in Chicago, if any of you are ever in the neighborhood.
