I snagged one. Gonna brew up a Bourbon Barrel Quad (like Boulevards) or something like KBS soon.

When my next major beer purchase allows I'll be getting one of these. As it stands now I still have my 5L barrel that's full of Maker's Mark just waiting for a good stout to put in there. On the upside, the Maker's in there now is over a year old and tastes great. Going to be hard to trade one for the other.

I'd trade the Makers Mark into a bottle!! I wouldn't put it all in a beer.....16oz is plenty in a 5g batch of Homebrew.....

I did a batch of imperial porter and put in 8oz of makers. It was plenty (and I really like bourbon also).

I'm going to put the bourbon back in the bottles. Well whatever doesn't make it into a glass for me to drink that is. Then I'll age a porter or stout in the barrel for a few months. After that I'll put Maker's back in the barrel.

Nice find! I'm still looking for barrels that still have the whiskey still in them
