While probably not the best choice, I have had good luck with USPS flat rate boxes when shipping just a few bottles. Just use the self service to get the label and drop it off at the counter. Just make sure you pack them up tight. I individually wrap each with a gallon zip lock, then bubble wrap, and throw some foam peanuts in there.

I've seened to run into a issue with USPS losing my packages as of late...

Shipped a couple bombers and some stogies to a buddy, my house > Jacksonville > Jersey City NJ > Jacksonville > flat line.....nothing since.

Net package I sent a six pack of Cigar City Maduro Brown and a huge basket (he brews BIAB) to a buddy in Chicago, on the 14th, still no word....but my dumb ass lost my tracking number....errr almost a 12 pack of beer gone...

I may be wrong, but I've been told to avoid USPS because it's a federal department. There are issues with taxing the beer when sending across state lines and stuff like that.

I have heard this too.

Anyways, I called dude up today at work. Receptionist said he doesn't work in the office. I left him a message with my number asking him to call me. Hopefully, I hear from him now that I've turned up the heat a little bit.

I hate that your having so many issues with this Ross!

I just wish people would do what they say!

IMHO if the package indeed has been lost, he should be in constant contact trying his best to help rectify the situation...By him ignoring you to me, says "I'm guilty" or "I'm screwing you over."

Thanks. Integrity is hard to come by these days. I just hope karma finds him...

This member clearly needs his forum privileges revoked.

So I have been trying to consistently be a pain in his ass so he contacts me back. I have been sending PM's and calling him regularly. Today, I called and left another message (probably like the 5th or 6th one) at his work telling him to call me. I didn't actually take to Joe, but I did talk to a guy that is hopefully his boss. I hold him what was going on and filled him in on the whole situation and he said he would have Joe call me back. Hopefully this actually works and I hear back from him. Otherwise, I'm going to keep calling until I can catch him in the office. The idea my buddy had about flying out there and meeting him before work with a Louisville sounds better and better every time this a$$hole doesn't return my messages.
