Default Founders Bolt Cutter release

http://foundersbrewing.com/latest-news/2012/bolt-cutter/

I just scored a ticket for Monday, November 12. Unfortunately, I will be in Shanghai the week before, home the 8th, then off to Singapore the 14th, so may not feel like flying up to Michigan to pick up 2 bottles of beer.

Any Grand Rapids locals around here that didn't get tickets? If so we may be able to work out a deal.

Even though I'm not a "local", I'd love to head up because the stupid ABV law here in OH means that Bolt Cutter won't be seen locally. Stupid OH laws!

^ Absolutely ridiculous the archaic alcohol laws that still exist. (Well, ANY laws, if you've ever read those lists that occasionally pop up.)

Then again, while 12% sucks, especially considering it was up for change last fall, but I have to empathize with my Pennsylvania brethren (& sistren?) because, even if they can get higher ABV beers than I, they've got absolutely nutty laws that make me somewhat appreciative of Ohio's less-backward laws.

Damn Straight.

Don't forget the states that censor provocative labels.

I forgot I'd read about Alabama recently too. Yeah, very lucky I don't live there. Texas has quite a few idiosyncrasies too. I guess we can't have 50 Colorados (or any other progressive beer state).
