Sippin' off a fresh Keg of Reisling/Traminer Blend. I'm not really a big Wine guy, and Red's in particular are not high on my list, but Traminers and Reislings just hit it right for me every once and awhile.

This one came out exceptionally well.

This is a ~2 year old IIPA and it's still got a lot of hops character. Good beer.

Decided to crack one of these since I just added spices to my pumpkin ale in secondary.

This actually isn't bad for what it is, which is a typical pumpkin ale. It is a bit lighter than many I've had, and pretty drinkable. The thing that stands out to me is the ginger, and not just ginger, but fresh grated ginger which I think is the wrong way to go in a pumpkin ale. Fresh ginger's great, but in a ginger-ale (or Asian food) sorta way. I prefer the way dry ground ginger comes across in a pumpkin beer, or pie for that matter. Good beer, but the wife's getting the other 5.
