I'm really looking forward to this year's and getting it on with my new AG setup!!
Thanks! I haven't been so excited in a long time. I've been getting burnt out on using swamp coolers.

Good going on the new AG set-up!

I hope you make it up. My son who is /was supposed to get me my newest supply Thursday, just informed me that they're having an issue keeping up with demand of Heady. He hit 3 places he normally buys it from and they're fresh out. Got my fingers crossed it comes in before he has to head down here. ( I will say he does live in Southern VT so if you're more north then you may not have any issues.)

While you're up there you should try to find some Lawsons Finest Liquids...rare to the extreme.http://www.lawsonsfinest.com/

You will love being able to easily control your temps without worry...HUGE difference throughout the entire process, from Primary, secondary to Dry hop and Cold crashing.

It's only been running for a week, and I'm already spoiled! I just scored a free 10cf chest freezer and possibly another 7cf, too. I'll use the 10cf to make a keezer and make a lager chamber with the 7. I might need to build an addition on the house!

I don't blame ya! Swamp coolers work great, but ya gotta stay on top of 'em. Once I get the garage brewery finished up, the chest freezer will be next on my shopping list for sure.
I'm so psyched to use the new coolers, I've made some great BIAB brews, but it has it's limitations.

Last spring I got the same midwest kit and love it! You well have a lot if fun with your new setup. Mashing for 10 gallon brews can period to be quite tricky and I have had a couple near spill overs. After the second brew I the new setup we figured out the process and how our new equipment acted and our beers have gotten mighty fine if I may say so. Cheers and happy brewing!

Awesome, that's good to hear. I'm stoked to get brewing on it! I was figuring about how much grain that thing can handle and telling my wife that ten gal batches of session brews are only a bigger kettle away!!

So I've done a few things for my beer recently. I scored a new fridge via bartering last week, so my old fridge is now dedicated to nothing but beer bottles!!

Another thing I did just tonight is run a water supply line for the new fridge so I can use the water/ice dispenser (I've never had a fridge with one... yeah, I know, I'm a dinosaur!). Now I don't have to buy ice or filtered water for brewing beer!!!

Winning!

Happy Friday friends!

Cheers!

Nice man. That should work out well for ya.

All I've done for beer lately is grab a bottle, pop the cap and pour. I did brew a pale ale on Monday, and plan to bottle my pumpkin and another pale ale this weekend, so it's not like I'm being a total stroker, but I feel that I should contribute more to my beer hob-session.
