The cause:
Beer before liquor never sicker. I normally get hungover when I start off drinking beer and then switch to whiskey or rum later in the night. It always seems like a good idea at the time.

The Cure:
2x Aleve followed by chugging a bottle of water and eating some dense bread like a muffin or bagel. Then my ass goes and lays on the couch for a couple hours.

The most recent one was caused by massive quantities of Coors Light, several Crown & Cokes, and multiple shots of shine. If I have it in the house, I drink a big ole glass of milk and pop some Aleve before going to bed. Then in the morning, I drink lots of coffee and lots of water, followed by the greasiest breakfast I can find. I have also been known to resort to "the hair of the dog" remedy, but that's only for hangover-emergencies

(Yep, I am the poster child for a healthy lifestyle)

The Cause: Too Much booze (beer/liquor), not enough water

The Cure: Bloody Marys, lots of water, and naps.

Got to work on monday and actually had to leave cuz it was so bad.

but my hangovers or headaches are usually from american lagers.

I very rarely get Hungover, but when I do it's more than likely that Jagermeister was involved....I simply love the stuff but have learned that it really doesn't love me in kind.

I normally taper myself off when I get to the point when I know it's been too much. I read alcohol depletes ur body of vitamin B, and of course dehydrates you. So I drink a huge glass of water, pop a multi-vitamin, and take two advil before bed. Its seems to definitely lessen the hang over.

I drink a bottle of water every 3 or 4 beers. Vodka does me in so i stay clear of it.

I pretty much do the same. I also try to eat snacks while I drink, which seems to help. I don't really get hangovers or headaches unless I just drink way too much! I don't do that too often these days.

Don't I know it! I drank a way overly sweet bottle of blackberry wine last night...gave me the worst headache I'd had in years and utterly ruined the beers I'd drank afterwards...I'm such a lightweight these days.
