Default Oh no, not again!

Rogue is at it again!

They're bringing back the Voodoo Doughnut brand again, but this time instead of Maple Bacon, they're choosing a different doughnut (The Memphis Mafia) for their inspiration.

May I present Rogue's Voodoo Doughnut Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Banana Ale!

What say you? Will you, especially if the Maple Bacon was difficult/impossible to drink, give this one a shot? What do you think the problem is with this beer (series of beers)?

I can almost unequivocally say that, yes, I will try it. At least once. It's almost impossible to get me to not try a beer at least once, save that moose nuts one. I hope/wish this one comes in stout form. If that were the case, that would sound good, especially as Rogue makes some really good stouts. I like experimentation, but I'd like to see them learn from the bad press (their mistakes?) and for this one to be closer to, if not definitely, a home run.

I never could bring myself to try the Maple Bacon one, but I would try this one. I've actually considered making a peanut butter chocolate stout before...

I've got a bottle lying around, if you want to trade.

I should let you hold on to that, so you can "age it"!

I bought the Bacon Maple. It was...... interesting. I'll try the new one, but won't expect it to be my next "go to". PB, chocolate and banana actually sounds like a better beer combo that bacon.

That's kinda cool. (I've done the sales job on myself by now.) But I'm definitely not buying from the brewery this time. I'll go ahead and wait it out until it's around here.

I may not buy another Rogue beer outside the Double Choc Stout. The 15k was crap, the maple bacon was crap, and the rest are average at best. End rant.

I saw the other day it was available to order on the Rogue website, but after all the money on shipping for the first and then seeing it around here a few months later, I think I can wait. (Plus, I'll be able to get one and if it's good, pick up more when I'm sure. haha)
