Default Heavy Seas - The Great Pumpkin

Picked a growler of this up last night. I'm usually not a big fan of the fruity beers. But this brew is excellent. It smelled like pumpkin pie and had a great, complex flavor without being overly sweet. Both me and my wife loved it. Which is rare because we have opposite tastes in beer.

Has anyone else tried it?

Great Pumkin is good, up there close to Pumking. I picked up a couple my last trip to the local bottle shop. There is also a Greater Pumpkin, which is a whiskey barrel aged version....it is really good. I haven't seen it yet this year though.

The Pumking is a little to sweet for my tastes. I'll keep an eye out for the Greater Pumpkin, I typically like the whiskey barrel stuff.

The Pumking was a big disappointment to me. I apparently had a bad bottle and from the feedback I got on another website I am not the only one. It ranked up there with Chocolate Indulgence as the worst expensive beer I've had.

Epic Brewing's Fermentation without Representation is tasty and I'd like to try the Midnight Sun TREAT (Imperial Pumpkin Chocolate Porter).

I'm still trying to get my hands on some of this, both for me and a friend.
