It would be cool to be able to tag users in threads or comments.

Similar to how Facebook or Twitter handles their user tagging, it would help users to know if there are certain posts mentioning their name. For example, if I knew someone had a certain kind of beer to trade, I could comment on a thread say, "I don't have any available but @username mentioned they did awhile back." The user tag would be a link to the user profile.

This would also notify the user that they have been mentioned in a post, and they could respond.

I know vBulletin has an extension for this, but I can't remember the name.

I like the idea. I have tried to use the "Members who quoted me?" feature under the My Account drop down menu and every time it says "Page not found."
