Wish I could still get "O. Henry Porter" that the Waterloo Brewing Company made. It was the best, but alas, no more. Maybe someday again.....

I'm going throw this out there and say Summit's Great Northern Porter just because it's local and closer to my heart but Black Butte is a mighty fine beer.

I'm the same way with Black Butte. I've always liked it.

Always an excellent choice.

I think Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter is the very best, but I find myself recommending Black Butte Porter more often.

Firestone walker barrel reserve porter.
Awesome beer! Gotta be my favorite porter now
most porters are like hanging out with ur teenage cousins. Its fun cuz its fam but just wish there was more substance in the conversation.
porters I sip and wish there was just more flavor and depth and just go to an all out stout.
But this fsw porter was great

I think Ballast Point Victory at Sea still takes this title for me. If we're counting Imperial Porters.

If just regular Porters... I LOVE Sierra Nevada's Porter. Simple, clean, damn good.

My vote is for Black Butte.

Silver City Brewing's Panther Lake is also decent if you happen to be in Northwest WA state.
