Default Surly Syx

Anyone gotten their hands on this yet? I picked up 4 bombers last night, one's in the fridge for this weekend. Really excited!

14.5% ABV? Like wowzers. Only 6 reviews on BA, pretty much shows it's really really new and hard to come by.

Surly has a very limited distribution range so it's doubtful I'll ever get my hands on any out here on the east coast.

Enjoy!

Not that they'll still have it today, but both Top Valu stores in Columbia Heights got a few cases. (Central Av & 50th, 37th Av & Arthur, just west of Stinson & 37th Av)

Nope, they don't really even distribute outside of the metropolitan area. I've heard of the occasional keg making it to Chicago or Milwaukee, but they like to keep their beer here.

Me neither!! I have one in the fridge that I'll probably break in to tonight. I'll post back tasting notes.

I found a liquor store that is possibly getting a case of Syx today or tomorrow and they are not taking names or reserving. First come, first serve. Just put them on speed dial and they are going to hate me. Muahah (evil laugh)

I have had no luck finding this beer anywhere. So much effort lost. Time to go find my lost hopes and dreams in the bottom of another bottle...

I've got a couple bottles but one is getting opened this weekend. Saving my last one for darkness day pregame! Anyone else going to be there? Let's trade!

Yeah, other than that time at Top Valu in Col. Hts., I haven't seen it anywhere. It sounds like liquor stores got what they got, and that was it.
