Anyone know if we get any decent sour beers distributed to MN?

I'm not familiar with sours at all, but I've got family coming this weekend and I've been meaning to have some for everyone to try.

Thanks!

I don't know about MN for sure, but some of the more common ones that are fairly easily found across the country are:
Lindemans Cuvee Rene: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/187/6104
Petrie Aged Pale: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/718/2184
Rodenbach: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/216/1882 (get the grand cru if they have it....way better)
Duchesse De Bourgogne: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/641/1745
Cuvee Des Jacobins Rouge: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/223/50772
Monks Cafe Flemish: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48/10482/
La Folie: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/192/1917 (this one is my favorite of the ones listed)

I was hoping you'd chime in. I found Lindeman's Framboise, it was decent but a little sweet. I don't know much about sours but I'm sure this was on the lower end in terms of quality.

You are correct, Lindemans is the the training wheel version of sours.

One of my all time favorites and it's available in MN according to quick google search http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/216/673/

Rodenbach Grand Cru is awesome, and usually only about $9 a 750ml, which us really cheap for a sour.

A lot of the Lindemans are back-sweetened far too much for me. The Cuvee Rene isn't; it is closer to a classic Gueze.

Resurrecting an old thread, but I finally found Rodenbach Grand Cru! Drinking it now, it's awesome. Newfound love for sours.

It smells like stinky feet, and the taste is a strange blend of leather, sour cherries, and maybe dark fruit? Very sour, but aftertaste stays with you and turns into something sweeter.

Great recommendation, I'll be buying again.

Yep. I have a local store that still has 2007, 2008, and 2009 vintage Rodenbach Grand Cru on the shelf. Gonna be snagging that the next time I swing in there.
