Hello,

I just recently started making my own home brew and want to connect and learn from some of the more experienced beer makers/lovers here.

I'm currently needing a place to buy my own hops and barley so I can start making my own wort for the brewing process. If anyone knows of anybody in Central IL who grows them for a decent price, let me know!

Welcome to the forum. I highly doubt you find anyone in Central IL that grows and sells hops, or grow/malts/sells barley. For the hops, I would recommend checking out Farmhousebrewingsupply.com, hopsdirect.com, freshhops.com, etc. You can get bulk or semi bulk, which will save lots of money. For the barley, I would try to find a bulk grain in one of the cities close to you. I know Chicago does them fairly regularly, St Louis probably does also, not sure about Springfield.
