Default Beer in Wisconsin Dells

Hi all,

We'll be spending a couple days in Wisconsin (Dells) next week, and I figure it's a good opportunity to get my hands on Wisconsin Beer.

First, anyone know of my best option in the Dells for the largest selection of beer?

Second, what are your recommendations? I'm a fan of Belgians/Wheats and IPAs if that helps.

Thanks!

New Glarus is only available in WI. I would seek out any of their Unplugged Series, the Belgian Red and The Rasberry Tart. Central Waters makes some nice beers also. FFF is available in Milwaukee, not sure about the Dells.

Check out Ale Asylum's Hopalicious and anything from O'so Brewing, especially Lupulin Maximus, Hop Whoopin and Hopdinger.

I'll have to keep that in mind for next time, although don't recognize the names from the liquor store I was at (whose beer selection left something to be desired).

Anyway, came home with a six pack of each New Glarus offering as well as a six of Central Waters Shine On. All have been great. Also snagged a bottle of New Glarus Raspberry Tart. Now there's an acquired taste! Wish I could've found the Belgian Red. And to round it all out I grabbed a six of Alaskan IPA (we can't get Alaskan here in IA, and I love the Amber).
