Default St. Louis enamel sign from 1970

This one is in pretty nice shape and just under a meter tall.

Default One that got away!

This is a sign from my favorite Lambic brewery carved into a barrel end and was on Ebay a couple years ago. I couldn't figure out with the Belgian seller how to get it shipped here so I didn't bid on it and it went dirt cheap. Bummer!

Default Gueuze signs for sale?

Sorry, I just noticed your post. The signs I have are singular examples and I'm not ready to part with any of them any time soon. I really need to start working on my Lambic book project. I figure that I have around 400 items that I want to photograph with sizes and dates from glasses, bottles and pitchers to postcards, coasters and invoices, etc., etc.. There will also be a section on home brewing lambic style beer and a little history about lambic. Sort of a coffee table book with lots of pictures. I just recently acquired a few more and will post one tonight.

Default Classic Gueuze sign from 1937

This porcelain enamel sign is from a famous old Lambic brewery that is long gone. Almost a meter long in really remarkable condition for being 75 years old!

Thanks for the reply! I totally understand that you don't want to part with any! I collect gueuze/lambic signs and glasses also and I would have a hard time parting with one. By the way - nice De Coster enamel! I have one very similar to it but yet different. I think I have a few duplicate signs in case we can work out a trade some day.

Default Nice to meet another lambic collector

I really need to go through all my stuff one of these days and see if I have any duplicates. If I do, perhaps a trade could one day be arranged. I'd be very interested in seeing any of your glasses or signs you find particularly interesting if you care to post them. Do you have any earlier, acid etched glasses?

Default Cantillon sign

In honor of the recent Zwanze Day here's the ONLY Cantillon sign in my collection. Made of plastic and probably not that old by the look of it but at least it's something from my favorite lambic brewery. Wish I would see more older stuff from them surface.

Default DEWOLF'S sign from 1948

Another old Gueuze sign from a defunct lambic brewery.
